Colin Isotti

Colin was born and raised in New Hampshire but now resides in TN.  In TN, Colin now teaches music at Austin-Peay State University, and is working his way into the booming scene of Music City USA (Nashville) and the surrounding areas. He returns to New England often to join his friends Clay & Tyler on the stage, and to play music with his flamenco guitar duo ‘Duo Nouveau.’

Here is what Colin wrote about MLCRecording.com:
"Not only is MLC’s Don Richardson a highly skilled engineer and producer, he is simply a joy to work with—you couldn’t ask for a better guy. He is a seasoned audio/video recording engineer both in the studio and out in the field, and it shows. Don is quick to adapt to any situation and wastes no time getting a version rendered for the artist to listen to. This enabled us to get started on the finer details of the production while the track was still fresh in our minds. Any necessary adjustments were made more swiftly than you could ask for them, with complete and precise attention to our considerations. Outfitted with amazing technology, MLC had what it took to record three full songs in two days. One track in studio with guitar-bass-drums-vocals-harmonies, and two live field recordings: one with guitar-vocals, and another—the music video you can find below “White Mountain Blue”— that included two guitars-banjo-three vocals + all the video recording necessary to make that music video! All of this in only two days session time!! I can’t think of a better professional to work with in New England, I highly recommend him for any of your audio / audio+video capture and production needs, he is a tour de force.!"

Below are some projects that we have done with Colin, both in the studio, and in remote locations.

White Mountain Blue

New Hampshire natives: Colin Thomas Isotti – Clay Lyons  & Tyler Allgood, bring their multifaceted music skills together to form the ‘White Mountain Boys’—a trio focused on folk, Americana, and Bluegrass. Each an original singer/songwriter and an active performer, you’ll catch them playing solo or with a variety of groups across New England and beyond.

This song, ‘White Mtn Blue,’ was written by Colin Thomas (Isotti) and it’s a little piece of the journey travelled with his childhood friend Tyler (Allgood), to his new home just north of Nashville, TN. It was recorded live on Crystal Lake in Maine by his good friend Don Richardson from MLC Recording.
